We help Smallholder Farmers
Dawadawa Impact Initiative (DII) is a social enterprise that empowers farmers to build resilience to climate change. We are a team of inspired and dedicated social entrepreneurs who have taken on the mission to revolutionize agriculture in Africa by rewriting the rules of agriculture through deploying innovation in agricultural products in the farm-to-table food system.
The Dawadawa Impact Initiative was designed to help combat environmental damage, reduce the effects of climate change and decrease post-harvest losses by advocating for regenerative farming. Furthermore, this initiative provides farmers with practical tech solutions that are intended to increase their productivity levels as well as improve their quality of life.
As a farmer-driven organization, we identify agricultural technologies and products that are tailored to the needs of smallholder farmers.
We ensure these solutions address any constraints that may be impacting their businesses, provide training on how to use them effectively, and offer ongoing support for successful implementation.
DII has chosen to embrace a bottom-up strategy when tackling the issue of food insecurity to foster an interconnectedness between rural farmers, buyers, processors, and investors.
By championing sustainable agricultural production among vulnerable communities, we strive towards our goal of empowering these citizens with access to nutritious sustenance.
